Sunday, August 16^th

1:00 – 2:30 pm Turns

Complex Turns for the Social Dance Floor – planeos, enrosques, and turn technique.

2:30 – 4:00 pm Voleos

Straight and Circuilar Voleos.

4:30 – 6:00 pm Complex Ganchos

Different dynamics, speeds and motions.

The last 15 minutes of each class will be for practice and/or warm-up for next class. Please try to arrive early so you don’t miss anything.

Five Cities Dance Pavilion in Arroyo Grande

1200 E Grand Ave., Arroyo Grande. From Hwy 101 (north or south), exit on Grand Ave. Go west on Grand, it will be on the right side at Brisco St. If you get to Jack-in-the-Box at Elm St., you’ve gone a block too far.

Cost: $30 per person per class. Register for multiple classes at once and save: 2 for $55, 3 for $75, 4 for $95, 5 for 110, or all 6 for $120. Individual Private Instruction is $85 per hour per instructor, maximum of one couple per instructor. Semi-private classes are $60 per couple per hour, led by both instructors with a minimum of three couples. Please contact Rich to schedule.

Monday, August 17^th at SLO Vets' Hall

7:00 – 10:00 pm Review and Practice (all levels)

Agustina & Claudio will review the material covered over the weekend and answer questions. Please keep in mind that the review is meant for those who took classes, not as a short version to substitute for the classes. You will also have plenty of time to practice and have opportunities to receive corrections from these expert teachers. $15 for the evening at the San Luis Obispo Vets' Hall (near the corner of Grand & Monterey). $5 donation just for the practice starting at about 8:30.

Agustina Videla and Claudio Asprea return to San Luis Obispo for a sixth time. They have been dance partners since 1997, and have performed at many major tango events in Buenos Aires and appeared several times on Argentine Television. They have also been part of numerous tango shows on multiple continents.

Agustina and Claudio have toured Europe several times, performing and teaching in Austria, France, Germany, Luxemboug, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Russia as well as a large number of cities in the United States including New York, Washington, San Francisco, Miami, and Portland.

Claudio & Agustina have released their instructional DVD, "Tango from the Heart", with over 4 hours of material. This DVD is the result of many years of experience, research, and detailed effort. Tango from the Heart will be available directly from Claudio while he is here or from their web site.
